I've been into pixel horror games for the past half a year and become a serious fan of Deep-Sea Prisoner! My favorite is Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea but I love all of their games!

Does anyone else like them?

I've watched a Let's Play of Mogeko Castle, and I've played through The Gray Garden. I've still got Wadanohara to play. Their games are pretty enjoyable despite the loads and loads of walking. It was a shame that Mogeko/DSP got chased out of Tumblr, though.

Ohh Wadanohara was the first one I played, then Gray Garden and I just recently finished Mogeko Castle. I sort of accidentally went backwards haha. Yeah. People really jumped on them :(

I'm waiting for a nice and peaceful night to play Wadanohara. I can't wait to see what DSP might be making next.

The whole Tumblr thing was insane, especially when people who hadn't even played the game caught wind of it and started to yell about it. People thought that the characters were kids because of the chibi artstyle, and the very same people thought that instead of one non-con drawing (with no genitals shown) the artist actually drew dozens of childporn pictures.

I've heard a lot of things about what they're doing next. I heard they may be doing a prequel and sequel to gray garden, and I've seen preview images of a BUNCH of new possible games from the bonus rooms in all three games. But have heard nothing at all about those images afterwards?

And the non-con thing was a request to boot. I mean yeah DSP has a lot of undertones in their games about sexual abuse and the like (Especially in Mogeko Castle I mean like WOW. Not even an undertone there.) but I actually don't remember how old the characters are. Pretty sure Wadanohara is young..or just childish and short. Wikia says she's under 5 feet...Yonaka is a high schooler.. But like yeah idk. DSP really shouldn't have been attacked like they were. I wasn't around at the time to know everything but from what I've heard, it was really stupid. If they hadn't been run off, we might've actually gotten updates on games and such. Now they're nowhere to be found, at least to my knowledge.

There was also that Mogeko Castle Gaiden trailer in Mogeko Castle, but nobody nows when that'll be released. I'm excited to see what it'll be like when DSP is finally done with it! `u´

Anything is possible with the ages, and it's hard to tell how old they might be, since all of DSP's characters share similar short of bodytypes.

DSP eventually put the picture under a 'Read More' on Tumblr, and then people started to flip out because they didn't add TRIGGER WARNINGS into the tags, because there's no way DSP could've known about such things, because it's more of a Tumblr thing. People started to send death threats to Mogeko and called Mogeko's fans rape apologists. They deleted the picture and wrote an apology in their limited English, and even that made people flip out, because they thought Mogeko's apology sounded 'too simple'. After the death threats continued, they eventually deleted their Tumblr. They're still posting things on their Japanese blog and occasionally people translate the posts on Tumblr to let others know what Mogeko is up to.

Yeah that one looked really cool! I hope it's actually released and not one of those projects that gets trashed. I was really excited when I saw it!

I mean if it were me and they hadn't put it under a read more and didn't tag it...I'd probably be a bit upset too? But I mean a) It's their blog they don't HAVE to do anything. b) yeah they might not have even known bout tagging with warnings.

I don't blame Mogeko for not knowing about the Read More system, I didn't even know how things like that worked when I first joined Tumblr, and it took months before someone was like 'Can you please put that under a 'Read More' and said how it works'

Hahah, I eventually did the same thing a while after someone taught me about Read Mores :D I remember when three years ago the post codings would sometimes glitch up and you had to manually put in the codes through the HTML setting

Oh man that sounds like a real pain! I think I joined maybe 2 years ago so I suppose I missed that disaster!

Back then the site would heavily lag and sometimes even crash whenever a new Doctor Who episode or Homestuck update came out.

I really love Mogeko's art and the pixel art as well, it's so pretty and colorful to look at!

Oooh I remember the homestuck updates. I miss that, man, haha. But that might be because I'm a big homestuck fan. It's pretty much why I joined tumblr in the first place, so I'd have more people to talk to about it.

Yeah! Their art style is really adorable and I love it. I'm sort of considering commissioning a CW based off of something DSP has made. Not sure if it'd be from Wadanohara or Gray Garden, though. But everything is so cute and clean!

Ooh yes I love mogeko! How varied and unique all of their characters are is so inspiring to me. Wadanohara is actually kind of similar to a concept I've had in mind for a while but I can't even be mad it's such a good game.

Yeah i love them! Though I kept yelling about how much of a huge tsundere loser Samekichi is though XD Ahhh you have a lil Madotsuki gif too!

Heck yeah!! Yume Nikki was my first love in the rpg maker community. I feel you on Samekichi but Wada could have been a LIL less naive. They're both such cute idiots though.

Yume Nikki was too abstract for me but I watched my friend play it and that was fun! Lol I guess the naivety was a way of showing her "innocence" or something, maybe? Samekichi has no such excuse for what a loser he is XD
